Alice studied Environmental Engineering at KTH in Stockholm and holds an MSc in Machine Learning applied to environmental issues from Imperial College London. Her studies focused on topics such as reconstructing historical climate data through tree-ring analysis and investigating fungal biogeography and soil carbon dynamics. Alice was drawn to Edaphon’s focus on promoting sustainable agriculture and protecting biodiversity with holistic, science-based solutions.

Outside work, Alice is an avid rock climber who loves connecting with people through her varied interests, whether it’s cooking, singing or outdoor adventures in nature.

Cedric holds a Master’s degree in Management Science from the University of Antwerp, and has additional certificates in Project Finance & Advanced Valuation from the Amsterdam Institute of Finance. He started his career as a management consultant in 2005 before moving to investing in 2011. He has been involved in several VC, renewable energy and also later-stage private equity deals.

Cedric likes to spend time with his family & friends, is an avid music & movie enthusiast and tries to keep himself fit by practicing a variety of sports.

Joost studied Commercial Engineering at KU Leuven and Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management, specializing in Environmental Economics. Prior to joining Edaphon, he gained investment experience in the Energy Transition team at Korys and worked on due diligence and valuation in the Transaction Advisory department at EY. Joost finds it important to work on challenges related to the planet and the environment, aligning with Edaphon’s mission.

In his free time, he enjoys staying active through a variety of sports and spending time with friends and family.

Vincent received his MBA from the Yale School of Management (USA) and an MS in Engineering from the Université Catholique de Louvain (Belgium). Vincent first held general management, strategy consulting and investment management positions in the US and in Europe. In 2003, he launched his own advisory company which actively participated to the creation of Korys, the investment holding of the Colruyt family. He held the position of CEO of Korys from its inception until 2022, year in which he created Edaphon to concretize our founding shareholder’s intention to support nature-based solutions addressing our climate and biodiversity crises.

Outside work, Vincent loves to spend time with his family, friends and dogs. He finds an interest in a vast array of topics in which nature and history form the central themes.

Nicolas studied law at KU Leuven in Belgium and earned a Master of Law from King’s College London. Before joining Edaphon, he was a partner at a Benelux law firm, advising companies for 25 years on M&A, fundraising, and ESG matters, with a focus on the renewable energy sector. He joined Edaphon with a strong desire to support projects tackling climate and biodiversity challenges.

Nicolas loves spending time outdoors in his free time, especially hiking, biking, and skiing.

Anna holds an MSc in Plant Biotechnology from Leibniz University Hannover and a PhD from KU Leuven and Ghent University, where her research intersected microbiology and synthetic biology. Her doctoral work focused on developing tools for evolutionary engineering in yeast, utilizing alternative CRISPR/Cas systems. Anna joined Edaphon to support initiatives tackling the critical challenges of ecosystem loss, biodiversity decline, and climate change, while also discovering innovative and inspiring solutions.

Outside of work, she enjoys being in nature, exploring the fascinating world of fungi, and spending time with friends and family.

Guillaume holds a Master Degree in Economics from ICHEC and a Post-Graduate Degree in Tax Law from KU Leuven. He first worked during 13 years as a certified tax consultant at PwC and then Deloitte. He pursued his career working in finance during 15 years, first as a Finance Director of an international company and then as a CFO of one of the largest Belgian family office. He joined Edaphon in 2022 as a part-time CFO.

In his free time, Guillaume loves spending time with his family and friends and wander through nature with his two dogs.

Oscar studied in Belgium and earned a Masters in both Mechanical Engineering at UCLouvain and Financial Markets at Solvay Business School. Before joining Edaphon, he worked for five years in the wind turbine industry starting as a mechanical engineer and ended in the financial development of large international offshore wind farms. Deeply concerned by the climate and biodiversity crisis, Oscar wants to help companies addressing these challenges by working at Edaphon.

Outside work, Oscar loves reading books, is an amateur chess player and hiker, and volunteers regularly at an education NGO.
